Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 May 2026
Welcome to ProGen Health. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ProGen Health website at progenhealth.com and any related applications, services, or features (collectively, the “Services”) provided by ProGen Health Limited, a company incorporated in Ghana (“ProGen,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
ProGen Health is a wellness and health-monitoring service. It is not a medical practice, a diagnostic service, or a laboratory, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Please review these Terms carefully before using the Services. By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Who can use ProGen Health
The Services are intended for adults aged 18 or over who are resident in or present in Ghana at the time of use. By signing up you confirm that you meet these requirements. Children under 18 may only be added as linked dependents in accordance with our dependent policy; the registered member assumes full responsibility for any dependent linked to their account.
2. What ProGen provides
ProGen offers a membership-based health-monitoring service that includes:
- Scheduled biomarker testing through ProGen’s network of accredited partner laboratories in Ghana.
- Plain-English reporting of your results, including ranges authored or signed off by ProGen-affiliated clinicians.
- AI-generated insights and lifestyle suggestions, which are always reviewed by a licensed clinician before being released to you.
- Nutrition guidance from a registered nutritionist where included in your membership tier.
3. What ProGen does NOT provide
ProGen Health is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Specifically:
- We do not diagnose disease. The presence of a marker outside a range, an “urgent” flag, or a clinician note is informational only.
- We do not prescribe medication or treatment plans.
- Our clinicians do not establish a treating doctor–patient relationship with you. They review your results, flag what may warrant follow-up, and recommend that you consult your own physician where appropriate.
- If you are experiencing symptoms, an emergency, or any acute change in your condition, contact your doctor or call emergency services immediately.
4. Memberships, payments, and refunds
ProGen offers two membership tiers (Regular and VIP) and a pay-per-test option. All amounts are stated in Ghana Cedis (GHS) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed via Hubtel (MTN MoMo, Vodafone Cash, AirtelTigo Money, or card). By submitting payment information, you authorise the relevant amount to be charged.
Subscription memberships renew automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. We do not refund prior periods of an active subscription. We will refund a single test purchase if the test cycle has not yet been scheduled.
5. Test cycles and lab partners
When you book a test, ProGen routes the request to an accredited partner lab. Your sample is collected by the lab, the lab uploads raw values and a source PDF, ProGen verifies the data, our clinician reviews it, our nutritionist authors any plan, and your results are released to you in the portal. We do not perform the analytical chemistry ourselves; we are responsible for the workflow, review, and interpretation surface.
6. Accuracy of information you provide
You agree to keep your profile accurate — including date of birth, sex (for reference-range purposes), region, contact details, and any health concerns or goals you record. Inaccurate information can lead to misinterpretation of your results.
7. Your data, your account
Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for safeguarding your sign-in credentials, including any device that has the ProGen PWA installed. Notify us immediately at hello@progenhealth.com if you suspect any unauthorised access. We use multi-factor authentication for staff roles; we encourage you to enable Face ID / PIN re-lock on the PWA.
ProGen processes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Services lawfully and not to misuse them. Detailed examples of permitted and prohibited conduct appear in our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach those rules.
9. Intellectual property
All content provided through the Services — branding, copy, interface, biomarker descriptions, reference-range authoring, and clinician notes — remains the property of ProGen Health or its licensors. Your individual results and the personal information you enter belong to you; you grant us a limited licence to process this information solely to deliver the Services.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, ProGen, its directors, employees, and affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid ProGen during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Ghanaian law, including liability for personal injury caused by our proven negligence or for fraud.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ProGen from any losses arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Services; or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any health-care professional you consult separately.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you through the portal or by email. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. The courts of Ghana have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, save that we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court to protect our intellectual property.
