Authorization for Use of Medical Information
Last updated: 29 May 2026
This authorization is optional. If you choose not to grant it, ProGen will continue to provide every part of your service in the same way. Granting it lets us contact you about products, services, and research that we believe are relevant based on your medical information — for example, if your results suggest an elevated cardiovascular risk, we might contact you about a heart-rate monitor or a follow-up consultation.
Read this document carefully. You can grant or revoke this authorization at any time from your account settings or by emailing privacy@progenhealth.com.
1. Who is asking and who I authorise
I, the named ProGen Health member, authorise ProGen Health Limited (“ProGen”), and any successor or affiliated entity acting on ProGen’s behalf, to use my medical information for the purposes described below.
2. What information this covers
This authorization applies to all of my individually identifiable medical information received, generated, or otherwise processed by ProGen, including:
- My name, date of birth, and contact details.
- Demographic information such as region and sex.
- My biomarker results, the source PDF reports, and any flags applied to those results.
- Clinician interpretations, nutritionist plans, and AI-generated insights released to me.
- Health concerns, goals, lifestyle notes, and family history I have provided during onboarding or subsequently.
3. What ProGen may use it for
I authorise ProGen to use the information described above to:
- Contact me about the availability, features, or price of products, programmes, or services offered by ProGen or third parties that we believe may be relevant to me based on my medical information.
- Provide me with health, wellness, and nutrition content, research updates, and event invitations.
- Conduct internal research, model evaluation, and quality improvement on a de-identified basis where reasonably possible.
ProGen may share the information with reputable affiliates and service providers acting under written confidentiality and data-processing obligations consistent with the Privacy Policy. ProGen will not sell my medical information.
4. Acknowledgements
- I understand that once medical information is disclosed there is a risk of re-disclosure, and that some downstream recipients may not be subject to the same privacy obligations as ProGen.
- I understand that ProGen may not condition the delivery of my regular wellness services on whether I grant this authorization.
- I understand that this authorization is voluntary and that I can refuse to grant it without any effect on my ProGen membership.
5. Revoking this authorization
I may revoke this authorization at any time, in writing, by:
- Toggling it off in my account settings; or
- Emailing privacy@progenhealth.com from the email address associated with my account.
Revocation takes effect on receipt by ProGen but does not affect any prior uses that ProGen made in reliance on the authorization while it was in force.
6. Duration
Unless I revoke it earlier, this authorization remains effective for five (5) years from the date I grant it, after which I will be asked to renew if I wish ProGen to continue these uses.
7. My right to a copy
I have a right to a copy of this authorization. I may also request access to the medical information used or disclosed under it by contacting privacy@progenhealth.com.
8. How I grant the authorization
You grant this authorization by ticking the corresponding consent in your account settings (Account → Privacy). The timestamp of your consent is recorded in your account and in our audit log.
